22-year-old girl with Down syndrome became a model

Modern society is gradually turning towards people with special needs. It is also becoming more tolerant towards people with an unusual, non-standard appearance, which also often accompanies a person with one or another type of disability.

The fashion industry is not left out. Just the other day, the Internet spread the news about 22-year-old Welsh resident Beth Matthews. The girl was born with Down syndrome, which did not prevent her from fulfilling her dream and signing a contract with a specialized British advertising agency Zebedee. Created five years ago, the agency works exclusively with people with special needs.
However, do not think that one such feature is enough to become a model. They also pass the casting, demonstrating a bright personality and the ability to stay in front of the cameras.

Charming Beth was able to demonstrate all this and the agency agreed to work with her! The girl is just happy, she claims that she was inspired to take such a step by the example of her compatriot 19-year-old Ellie Golstein.
She has been collaborating with Zebedee for four years and managed to appear, for example, for Vogue magazine and work with the Gucci brand.

Beth Matthews turned out to be such an organic and interesting model that advertisers literally immediately became interested in herself, taking part in a number of shootings, and even advertised wedding clothes.

Fiona, Beth’s mom claims her daughter has literally blossomed. It remains only to rejoice at this, because, as statistics show, “sunny” people, as people like Beth are called, on average, 1 in 700-1500 people is born. Girls like Beth and Ellie inspire parents of these newborns, instilling confidence that their children can find something to their liking in the modern world.
